Steven Nickerson – Managing Director
Steve has spent most of his career in the travel insurance industry. He spent several years with Home & Overseas (the specialist travel insurer of the Eagle Star Group) prior to moving to Accident & General where he was managing director from 1993 to 1996. Steve was appointed managing director of Preferential in December 1996.
David Marshall – Finance Director
David is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the financial services sector. In 1982 he left KPMG to join Argyle Trust plc, a financial services group where he became Group Finance Director. From 1989 to 1997 he held various positions within the Culver Group including Finance Director of Accident & General from 1992 to 1994. He was appointed a director of Preferential in 1997 and Managing Director of Optimum in 2002.
Wendy Williams - Associate Director
Wendy, a graduate of Manchester University with an MSc in travel & tourism, began her career in event management prior to moving into hotel sales & marketing. She now brings to Preferential almost a decade of experience gained at The Cooperative Travel Group where she has held a series of roles, latterly those of Commercial Manager and Business Development Manager.
Louise Lockwood – Business Development Manager
After completing a National Diploma in Travel & Tourism in 1994 Louise has worked for both travel specialists and retailers including Going Places and Prestbury Travel Group. She joined Preferential from Redsky IT Solutions for Travel where she was Regional Sales & Account Manager.
Caroline Snedker - Online Marketing Manager
Caroline holds an IDM Diploma in Digital Marketing and joined the business in 2007 to strengthen and develop its ongoing
E-commerce strategy. She has over seven years experience in the travel industry including positions with TUI UK,
Gullivers Travel Associates and the luxury tour operator Beachcomber Tours.
