PREFERENTIAL BREAKS DOWN BARRIERS TO SALE
TRAVEL INSURANCE SPECIALIST PLANS QUESTIONNAIRE OF OVER 200 AGENTS
Travel insurance specialist, Preferential, is planning a questionnaire of over 200 independent travel agents to find out what challenges they face in selling travel insurance. It will be sent out in the next six to eight weeks.
The first 20 agents who fill-in and return their questionnaire to Preferential will receive a £10 Marks & Spencer voucher as an incentive.
Commenting on the reason behind the questionnaire, Louise Lockwood, Business Development Manager at Preferential says, “We like to work closely with our travel agent partners and it is very important to us to find out the challenges and possible barriers to sale faced by independent travel agents.
The aim of the questionnaire is to understand how the agents are fairing in an increasingly competitive marketplace. It will enable us to better support agents and to devise travel insurance products which will continue to appeal to their customers and be attractive for them to sell.”
The travel agent questionnaire is the first phase in a campaign by Preferential to support agents during the current uncertainty with regard to the forthcoming introduction of FSA regulation of how travel insurance is sold with a holiday or related travel.
