HIGHEST EVER TRAVEL INSURANCE COVER FOR LUXURY HOLIDAYS
- PREFERENTIAL LAUNCHES NEW ‘PREMIER’ COVER TO RETAIL AGENTS -

Travel agents selling holidays to some of the most deluxe places on the planet – such as the six star Burj al Arab hotel in Dubai,Necker Island, or a round-the-world cruise on the Queen Mary 2 – can now sell deluxe travel insurance to match.

Travel insurance specialist Preferential has launched ‘Premier’, a new luxury travel insurance product which offers some of the highest levels of cover in the market.

Premier’s high levels of cover includes medical cover up to £15million per person and cancellation and curtailment cover of up to £15,000 per person. Preferential’s Premier also offers personal accident cover of up to £100,000 per person, which positions it as one of the highest on the market.

Preferential managing director Steve Nickerson said, “As many travel agents know, high-end holidays are on the increase, so we have put together ‘Premier’ travel insurance to match. Particular highlights include medical cover up to £15million per person and cancellation cover up to £15,000, which we think is amongst the highest currently available in the UK.”

Mr Nickerson continues, “This is a unique travel insurance product which will appeal to agents because it is tailored to those customers booking expensive holidays and therefore requiring high levels of cancellation cover especially.”

Other special features of ‘Premier’ by Preferential include a personal baggage cover of up to £2,500, with a single article limit of £750; up to £750 for the cost of a business colleague to join the insured person and up to £1,500 towards the cost of another person to join or stay with the insured person if they are ill in hospital abroad. Hijack cover is also available at £100 per day up to a total of £1,500.

A week-long Premier Worldwide policy (including USA & Canada) is priced from £48.88, and a Premier Worldwide Annual Multi-trip policy (including USA & Canada) is priced from £148.17.
