PREFnet – THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE SALES FOR TRAVEL AGENTS

Preferential Insurance Services is launching a number of new travel insurance products and services especially targeted towards travel agents in 2007. The most important of these is the introduction of PREFnet – an on-line travel insurance policy management system. PREFnet will offer agents the opportunity to issue policies, receive regular updates, carry out training and review and retrieve polices on-line.

Max Hensser – National Sales Manager at Preferential says “PREFnet is the future of travel insurance policy management, and we are very excited about offering our travel agent partners something completely new and different for 2007. Not only will it enable on-line sales, it will also offer agents the opportunity to review and retrieve quotations, thus making it easier for them to sell travel insurance to their customers. And likewise, PREFnet's integrated Profit Margin Appraisal tool will enable them to compete in a completely new way as they'll be able to work out just what revenue they are earning on every sale of travel insurance.”

Preferential will continue to offer both Value and Elite products but have dramatically reduced their prices to enable travel agents to be more competitive on the high street – prices for 8 days Europe on the Value product start at just £7.50 net.
